Introducing The All New 2019 Chrysler Pacifica

Chrysler has recently announced their all new 2019 Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid redesigns, with a few tweaks and brand new features that emboldens looks, challenges the standards of American market minivans, and heightens ecological capabilities.  A family favorite in serving the needs of functionality, storage, and budget-friendly fuel economy, the Pacifica's improvements keep this minivan fresh and modern-minded, including the latest technologies of utmost safety and efficiency.

Black is The New Green: Style

New for the 2019 model year, Chrysler offers a whole host of new appearance packages that sharpens style and ups luxury appeal.  The new S Appearance Package, now available for the Hybrid editions in 2019, features black accents inside and out, 18-inch black-noise wheels, and all black interior upholstery, setting the Pacifica apart with an active and pumped up athletic look.  Luxury White and Maximum Steel join 2018's eight color options. Aside from the visual upgrades, new equipment gets added into the various trims of the 2019 Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid models such as auto headlights, auto-dim rearview mirror, second/third row entertainment screens, and heated steering wheels.

Work Smarter, Not Harder: The Engine

The 2019 Pacifica Hybrid sets an unprecedented level of engineering to maximize its great gas consumption.  It's the first electric minivan on the market, and it sets the bar high. The award winning 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine paired with Chrysler's innovative dual-motor eFlite electric variable transmission provides 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.  Paired with the nine-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, the 2019 Pacifica Hybrid is made to achieve similar economy between low speed sprints around town or sustained highway speed cruises. The gas/electric combo achieves 84MPGe, cutting down on fueling up.  Need to run a quick errand? The electric only mode fully utilizes the 16-kWh lithium-ion battery to give 33 clean, emission-free miles before switching over to hybrid mode. The Pacifica Hybrid also provides an amazing 566-mile driving range, delaying a gas station detour for a week or more.

Second Nature, First Priority: Safety Features

Chrysler wants you and your family to travel with the peace of mind of over one hundred available and standard safety systems within the 2019 Pacifica.  Sensors and cameras give 360-degree awareness to the driver while travelling, providing a Surround View camera mode while in reverse. Adaptive Cruise Control with Brake Assist and Forward Collision Warning keep track of what's in front of the vehicle while driving, maintaining distance between you and the camera in front of you and aiding in applying brake force when detecting an inevitable sudden stop.  Rear parking sensors with Cross Path Detection combine with the rearview camera to give maximized maneuverability and awareness to oncoming, unseen obstacles, also automatically applying the brakes to mitigate crashes. The vehicle is mounted on an all new platform, providing an exceptionally safe and quiet ride that reduces vibration, noise, and harsh road conditions.

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica is expected to hit the markets in late 2018.  Thompson DCJ is ecstatic to bring in this new model to our lot as soon as possible.  Check out our newest inventory, or feel free to contact us to learn more of the 2019 Pacifica's availability.
