Design of Dodge Grand Caravan
The 2017 model year Dodge Grand Caravan can seat seven passengers. The Grand Caravan is a minivan available in four trim levels: SE, SE Plus, SXT, and GT. The SE is the base model and comes with a long and impressive list of equipment including a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with audio controls for driver comfort, cruise control, heated mirrors, a conversation mirror, power mirrors, locks, and front windows, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display (later in the year), a rearview camera (later in the year), a six-speaker audio system, 17-inch steel wheels, tri-zone climate control with air-conditioning, and a Stow 'n Go fold-into-the-floor feature in the second-row bench seat. The SE Plus comes with all the features of the Uconnect Hands-Free Group, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, a USB port, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, and a Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity. In addition to those features, the SE plus is equipped with upgraded upholstery and trim, 17-inch alloy wheels, second-row captain's chairs with an added floor console, a front floor console, and rear privacy glass. The SXT trim provides foglights, roof rails, chrome exterior trim, automatic headlights, a power liftgate, a larger floor console, remote engine start, power sliding rear doors, and leather upholstery with suede inserts. The GT model is the top-of-the-line trim, featuring a body-colored grille, new wheels, a driver information center, performance-oriented suspension, a rearview camera, black interior accents, full leather seating, an upgraded audio system with nine speakers, navigation (later in the year), and all the features of a Driver Convenience Group.
